The Metro bridge is the first bridge for metro trains opened in Kiev on November 5, 1965. It's a two level construction with one upper level (in the middle) for trains and lower level (on the sides) for cars.
Metro Bridge is the first bridge in the world in size that runs welding structure on dry joints. Console is made of individual concrete blocks connected with metal bolts. The Metro bridge along with the Rusanovskiy bridge connects the right bank of Kiev with Rusanovka district, Levoberejnuy district, Voskresenka district, Lesnoy district and a green zone – Hidropark. On the right bank of the Dnieper the Dnipro metro station is the last one on the outside.
