The Park in honor of Ostrovskiy is a city park located in Solomenskiy district of Kiev. It was founded in 1961. The territory is 4.11 hectares. The monument to MykholaOstrovskiy was installed there in 1971. Also there is a church built in 2003-2007. In 2007 the park was considerably reconstructed – the paths were refreshed, the light was installed and the stage was added to the plan of the park. In 2009 the monument to the students and to the teachers of former Kiev Kadet Corps was installed.
