The Lesya Ukrainka square is located in the Pechersk district in Kiev between the Lessi Ukrainki Boulevard, Kutuzova Street and Arsenalna Street. It was created in 1960s. It has a name in honor of a writer Lessia Ukrainka. The current name was attributed to it in 1965. On this square you can see the monument to Lesya Ukrainka. Also on this square there are a lot of skyscrapers where fortunate people live (as the appartments are very expensive there), also there are many educational establishments, shops and governmental eshatblishmemnts
